A security official was killed and another injured when a landmine exploded on Sunday. According to details, a landmine planted at roadside in Tourkhel area of tehsil Khawazai, Mohmand Agency exploded when security forces on routine patrol were passing through the area. The injured soldier was rushed to hospital. Security forces cordoned off the area after the blast and launched a search operation to nab the culprits but no arrests were made. Separately, two people were killed and three others injured in a bomb blast outside a house. According to details, unidentified men planted an explosive device on the wall of a house located in Tapi area of Miranshah, headquarters of North Waziristan Agency. As a result of blast, a portion of the house collapsed killing two residents and injuring three others. Local residents rescued the injured and shifted them to hospital. Sources said that the incident was outcome of a personal enmity.
