The police arrested four persons including father for selling his 10-year-old step daughter to 65 year old person here.
According to details, accused Muhammad Riaz, a resident of village Chak 170-DB, sold his step daughter Suraiya Bibi, 10, to 65-year-old Sher Muhammad, against Rs1 lakh and 10 thousand rupees.
The victim girl fled the custody of Sher Muhammad and reached Mouchiwala Police Station.
The police upon complaint of Suraiya Bibi arrested her step father Muhammad Riaz, Sher Muhammad and two others.
The accused Muhammad Riaz said that he was facing financial problems and have to pay debit therefore he gave his daughter’s hand in marriage with Sher Muhammad against one lakh rupees.
The other accused Sher Muhammad was of the view that he paid Rs1 lakh and 10 thousand rupees and married Suraiya Bibi.
The victim girl blamed that Sher Muhammad and his three accomplices raped her for last two months.
The police have registered a case against six persons and arrested four
persons nominated in selling the girl and raping her.
