Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif said on Saturday that the looted money of Zardari in Swiss Banks and other plunderers would be recovered and spent on the public welfare.
He said the entire nation was fully aware of the dacoity and theft of Zardari and other plunderers. He said further that on the one hand, Zardari has committed a dacoity of billions of rupees to the people of Pakistan and deposited in Switzerland while on the other hand, he has assigned the task to the prime minister neither to obey the orders of Supreme Court nor write a letter to Swiss government.
The chief minister while congratulating the citizens of Rawalpindi over completion of Chandni Chowk Flyover announced that a flyover would also be constructed at Sixth Road Chowk. He said 125,000 laptops were being distributed this year among the talented students of the province whereas; 300,000 laptops would be distributed during next financial year.
He announced a total amount of Rs 15 lakh as cash prize for labourers and workers who took part in the construction of flyover in recognition of their best performance for completing Chandni Chowk Flyover four days before the stipulated period.
He was addressing a public meeting after inauguration of Chandni Chowk Murree Road Rawalpindi Flyover. Member National Assembly Muhammad Haneef Abbasi and Rawalpindi Development Monitoring Committee chairman Sardar Naseem also addressed the public meeting.
Senators Pervaiz Rashid, Begum Najma Hameed, Members National and Provincial Assembly, officer-bearers and workers of Pakistan Muslim League-N and a large number of people were also present on this occasion.
Shahbaz expressed his determination that he and Punjab government under the leadership of Pakistan Muslim League-N President Nawaz Sharif, would continue to complete development projects speedily. He said Ali Baba and 40 thieves were sitting in Islamabad, few miles away from Rawalpindi who have ruined the country.
He said further that people had not rendered numerous sacrifices for such a Pakistan where a thief was considered “Chaudhry” and cruel as oppressed in police stations. He said the country would be made a Pakistan of Quaid and Iqbal in the real sense by hard work and honesty and mega development projects would be executed in the province.
