The London School of Economics Pakistan Society organized their annual flagship event, Pakistan Week, at the LSE campus last week. Held in conjunction with the Pakistani High Commission, the week was touted as “one of the biggest South Asian events in the country”.
Kazim Raza, president of LSE SU Pakistan Society, said that the event aimed to “enlighten cultural values and morals of the Pakistan community within LSE as well as providing entertainment, while highlighting the rich and colorful heritage of the country.” “We sought to encourage people from different nationalities to learn and experience what Pakistan is all about by shedding light on a Pakistan different from the one ordinarily portrayed,” he added.
