The Punjab Chief Minister (CM) Shahbaz Sharif has termed the allegations leveled against Muslim League-N leadership regarding Mehran Bank as totally baseless and misleading. He further said that foreseeing the thumping victory of PML-N in the forth coming elections, various conspiracies were being hatched against its leadership. He said that these allegations were a part of the same plan and that people had become aware of some of the characters of this mischievous plot while the remaining would also be exposed soon. In a press statement, Shahbaz said that the allegation was the brainchild of the same elements that had accused PML-N leadership of hijacking a plane. He said that people of Pakistan had neither believed in that allegation nor they would pay heed to the new one. The CM said that it was his firm belief that people could not be misled through such evil conspiracies against popular leadership. He further claimed that the accusation was the biggest lie of the century and PML-N was ready to expose its hollowness at every forum.
