Ufone Uth Records 2.0 introduces Affaq Mushtaq in episode 3

Following Ufone Uth Records 2.0 artist Jarar Malik, this week the televised youth music platform is set to feature talented artist Affaq Mushtaq on the 10th March. A resident of Rawalpindi, Affaq has previously worked as a session musician at ATV and also as a singer on PTV and currently performs at Monal, an Islamabad based restaurant along with his brother. Affaq Mushtaq will be performing ‘Angunn’ in collaboration with iconic Pakistani artist Aamir Zaki. The song is an original composition of his father the late Master Mushtaq, who was a music composer for PTV. For ‘Angunn’, Affaq Mushtaq is accompanied by iconic guitarist Amir Zaki and drummer extraordinaire Louis J‘Gumby’ Pinto on drums. In addition to singing, the versatile Affaq also plays the tabla, flute, keyboard, harmonium and guitar. It is this versatility that has provided him with the liberty to choose the style and sound of his own compositions. Speaking about working with Affaq, producer of Ufone Uth Records, Louis J ‘Gumby’ Pinto said: “With Affaq Pakistan will once again experience a child prodigy on the show. His capability as a musician and musicianship is undeniable.” Directed by Zeeshan Parwez, Ufone Uth Records Episode 3 will be airing on ARY Muzik, ATV, Oxygene, TV One, Channel G, Aaj News, A-Plus, Style 360, PTV Home, CNBC, Oxygene, Dawn News, News One, Waseb, Play TV, APNA Channel, KTN, Kashish and Wateen Cable Network as well as across Ufone Uth Records’ social media platforms, on 10th March.
