Having introduced a debut collection of fabrics and prints last year, The World of HSY’s Summer 2012 lawn collection is now available from 9th March onwards across leading stockists in all major cities including Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Sukkur, Peshawar, Jhelum, Gujrat and Sialkot. To celebrate the Summer 212 collection, HSY hosted an exclusive preview at the Royal Palm Golf and Country Club. In line with the red colour and aesthetic the design house has embraced this year, the preview venue was completely conceptualised in red, with a ramp running through the venue where a show was held for highlighting print and design options. Present at the glamorous evening were singers Tahira Syed and Kiran Chauhdry, Sara Shahid, Maheen Kardar Ali of Karma, Faraz and Sundas Manan of Rouge, Ali Xeeshan, jeweller Shazia Deen of Neemar, stylists Asmaa Mumtaz, Maram Azmat and Annie of Allenora. The evening was organised by QYT events with public relations by Lotus. This year, the design house draws aesthetic inspiration from global culture referencing the Ottoman Empire, paisleys from Persia, florals from Havana, Ikat from South America to the regal embroideries and motifs of Lucknow. Following the trend of unisex prints set last year, The World of HSY Prints features unisex print options. This season the collection consists of 14 designs in two colour options.
