Shujaat says no family enmity with Nawaz

PML-Q President Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain has said that he has no family enmity with Nawaz Sharif but they differ on principles.
In a TV interview on Thursday, Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain said they did not leave Nawaz Sharif and instead the Nawaz left them. He made it
emphatically clear that there would be no alliance with Nawaz Sharif for the sake of rule.
He said problems being faced by the country could be resolved if all the political leaders sit across a negotiating table.
In reply to a question, the PML-Q leader said that they joined Asif Ali Zardari not for sharing the government but for saving the system. He disclosed that if the PML-Q did not support the government, the army might not have interviewed but something must have happened. He conceded that there were two opinions in the PML-Q about alliance with the PPP and these
would be impact it in the next elections.
He said there are certain things in politics which the people in uniform must also take into consideration. He said Chaudhry Pervez Elahi has his own view point but the party policy would be as per his (Shujaat) guidelines.
To another question, Shujaat did not rule out election alliance with Imran Khan’s Tehrik-e-Insaaf. He said there was nothing impossible in politics. He said Nawaz Sharif is a politician but he is very strict in his liking and disliking.
He rejected criticism of horse trading during Senate elections in Punjab and said the PPP lost its seat due to wrong strategy.
About Senate elections in Balochistan,Shujaat said there was a contractor who made people Senators through his contract.
