Makhdoom Syed Faisal Saleh Hayat, President, Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) in a meeting at Football House showed his love for the game by enhancing the prize money for the KPT National Football Challenge Cup-2012, for winning teams and players. According to an official of the PFF, the prize money of the KPT National Football Challenge Cup -2012 has been increased from Rs 150,000 to Rs 300,000 for winning team while the runner up from Rs 100,000 to 200,000 and the third position holder from Rs 75,000 to Rs 100,000. The Fair Play from Rs 20,000 to Rs 30,000, best goalkeeper from Rs 10,000 to Rs 20,000 best player of the Challenge Cup from Rs 10,000 to 25,000, maximum goal scorer from Rs 10,000 to 20,000. The PFF has also introduced the Best Referee award of Rs 20,000 and Best Assistant Referee from Rs 10,000. This encouraging step would make the players put their best efforts in the game. The announcement by the president PFF has been welcomed whole heartedly by the participating teams and football lovers all over the country. They feel that increased Prize Money and incentives will be beneficial for the promotion of the game of football lovers of Pakistan.
