No good can be expected from the PPP-led federal government and the ongoing corruption in the country was more dangerous than cancer, PML-N President Nawaz Sharif said on Tuesday.
He was talking to PML-N Saudi Arabia and Germany presidents at the Sharif family farmhouse at Raiwind. Reiterating his demand for immediate general elections, Nawaz said that early elections could solve the problems of the masses. The PML-N president said that the nation was expecting an improvement in their lives after former president General (r) Pervez Musharraf’s rule but the federal government worsened the situation with problems such as load shedding, inflation and unemployment. Nawaz said that expatriates were concerned about the pathetic economic situation of the country, which was earning Pakistan a bad name.
