Two passengers were killed and several others sustained injuries when a passenger bus overturned here at Rashid Minhas Road on Wednesday.
Police said that passenger bus turned turtle at Rashid Minhas Road due to breaking of tie rod, inflicting injuries on several passengers.
Immediately, rescuers, ambulances and police personnel arrived at the spot and shifted the injured to hospital for treatment. Two of the injured succumbed to injuries at hospital.
Rashid Minhas Road was blocked for all kinds of traffic where long queues of vehicles were witnessed but after sometime the traffic was restored by removing the bus from the road.
