Punjab University Hajveri Chair, with the help of teaching and research departments of Oriental College, organised a one-day conference on “Kashf-ul-Mahjoob, Critical Analyses of Printing and Translations” at Sherani Hall, Old Campus, on Monday. Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Mujahid Kamran, Dean Faculty of Oriental Learning Prof Dr Hafiz Mahmood Akhtar, Prof Dr Zahoor Ahmed Azhar, Principal Oriental College Mazhar Moeen, Justice (R) Munir Ahmed Mughal, Justice (R), research scholars and a large number of students participated on the occasion. Addressing the gathering, PU VC Dr Mujahid Kamran stated that there was a need of rectification and improvement in the translations of Kashful Mahjoob and we were responsible for inaccuracies.
