Robbers looted cash and saving certificates worth Rs 5 million from a sister of former Punjab inspector general of police in Gulberg Area on Monday. Per details, former IGP Punjab Syed Azhar Hassan Nadeem’s sister Shehnaz Sajid Gilani, wife of a top ranked army official, visited a boutique located in Gulberg. As she was coming out of the shop, armed motorcyclists approached and held her at gunpoint. They snatched saving certificates and Rs 100,000 in cash and escaped. Contingents of police reached the crime scene and cordoned off the area and lodged a massive search operation in order to arrest the criminals.
