PML-Q President Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain on Sunday said PML-N chief Nawaz Sharif should first apologise from the nation for supporting a dictator 25 years ago. Shujaat said it was Nawaz who took Ziaul Haq to the assembly and there was no chance of the PML-Q’s alliance with the PML-N. Nawaz Sharif had recently asked Shujaat to seek apology for supporting Pervez Musharraf. However, Shujaat Hussain came hard on Nawaz, saying he had himself supported a dictator and was talking about democracy now. “Nawaz should apologise first then ask others for an apology,” Shujaat added. To a question on the memo scandal, he said it was not right that a person sitting abroad asked the judiciary to come to him and record his statement. He said there was nothing in memo case and it would only harm the interests of the nation. Later, Shujaat went to the house of Senator Kamil Ali Agha and congratulated him for winning the Senate elections.
