A 35-year-old security guard was found murdered under mysterious circumstances in his quarter in the Johar Town Police precincts on Sunday. The deceased was identified as Staff Report
, a resident of Sargodha. Police said that Khizar was working as a security guard at a local snooker club and staying along with security guard Imam Bakhsh at Mian Plaza located in the Johar Town area. Police quoting Imam said that on Sunday evening, Imam and Khizar were sitting at their quarter when Imam asked Khizar to go with him for work but Khizar refused. Police said that when Imam returned from work he found Khizar lying in a pool of blood with a bullet in his belly. He immediately informed police, which removed the body to the morgue for autopsy and started investigation.
BLAST: Three people, including two brothers, were injured when a gas cylinder installed in a rickshaw exploded while refilling in the Nawab Town Police precincts. The injured were identified as Irfan, Arshad and a passer-by. Police said that Irfan and Arshad were getting their rickshaw refilled with LPG at a shop located in Khokhar Chowk. During refilling, the gas cylinder exploded due to which Irfan, Arshad and a passer-by were injured. Local residents informed rescue officials, who shifted the injured to a nearby hospital where their condition was reported to be stable.
