Qiraat competition

In connection with the sacred month of Rabi-ul-awal, a qiraat competition was held among the students of Aims School System at Rawalpindi Arts Council here on Sunday. More than 30 students from different classes of the school participated in the competition. Almas Ayub Sabir, Chairman Aims Education System presided over the grand ceremony. Addressing the ceremony, he said that every educational institution must provide religious education along with modern education. He said that students should be acquaintance with the knowledge of Islam, Quran, Hadith and Fiqah.
Almas further stressed that government should impose same curriculum in all educational institution to curb class distinction. A large number of people from different walks of life attended the ceremony. At the end, Mufti Abdul Samad distributed awards among the winners.
