Engineers, doctors, professors and other professionals residing in TECH, Alpha and PCSIR housing societies conducted a peaceful protest for solidarity with Balochistan along with their families at Canal Bank Road in front of TECH Society on Sunday.
Jamhoori Watan Party President Shazain Bugti, Jaago Tehreek Chairman Qayyum Nizami and Brigadier (r) Farooq Hameed also participated in the protest. Shazain demanded trial of former president General (r) Pervez Musharraf in the Akbar Bugti murder case and immediate action against killers of Balochistan MPA Bakhtiar Domki. Nizami said that the government should initiate a dialogue with real Baloch leaders to resolve their problems. Men and women participating in the protest displayed placards with slogans such as Baloch president should solve their problems, Americans should cease intervention in Pakistan’s internal affairs, lawlessness in Balochistan should be stopped, fundamental rights should be given to Balochs, rulers should concentrate on welfare of people not amendments, Punjabi people are with their Baloch brothers in their struggle for basic human rights, Oh rulers save Pakistan not your positions and injustice in Balochistan should be stopped.
We all love Baluchistan and Pakistan. Now it's time to go forward with Baluch brothers. It's time for practical steps instead of statments.
We want to visit Baluchistan but this will be possible only after peace. We want more jobs and business and tourism in Baluchistan.
I'll also like to share a suggestion regarding Nomination of President of Pakistan. President of Pakistan – Head of the State, should be selected from different provinces every 4 years starting from B-Baluchistan. Each province will get a chance alphabetically. This will strengthen the federation of Pakistan.
Prime Minister's [Head of the Government] selection process will remain the same.

Yesterday, civil Society of Tech and Alpha Society Lahore held demonstration on Baluchistan Issue. We all love Baluchistan and Pakistan. Now it’s time to go forward with Baluch brothers for their rights. It’s time for practical steps instead of statements.
We want to visit Baluchistan but this will be possible only after peace. We want more jobs and business and tourism in Baluchistan.
