Apart from information of substandard material having been used in the construction of the mansion allegedly used by Osama bin Laden in Abbottabad, various paraphernalia was recovered from debris of the razed compound.
Fig and dates, toys and clothes of children, a hard board inscribed with Arabic, a bird cage, magazines both in English and Arabic, dish antenna, a burnt CPU of a computer, several parts of motor vehicles as well as certain parts of a destroyed helicopter found from the compound, it was learnt through well-placed sources on Thursday.
There were blood stains on stairs and walls of the upper portion of the residential compound where Osama was allegedly living, sources said, adding that there were a total of 11 rooms in the compound with an attached bathroom and kitchen with each.
The sources said an 18-foot wall separated the lawn from the rooms of the compound. According to a building construction expert, the material used in compound was sub-standard and there was no bunker-like establishment in the house.
The sources said land measuring nine kanals and nine marlas had been transferred to the district government of Abbottabad and there was a probability that a police station would be set up there.
