Reviewing the power position in the coming summer, PEPCO MD stressed Distribution Companies (DISCOs) to launch an effective campaign for the recovery of receivables and keep the line losses at its low. He appreciated the commitment of the government in mitigating the power outages in the country. Although the demand of electricity increases in summer, it is expected that the severity of load shedding will be far less this summer due to resolution of issue of circular debt by the Ministry of Water and Power and Ministry of Finance on special directions of the prime minister.
