Nawaz responsible for Baloch insurgency: Imran

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf chief Imran Khan on Wednesday said PML-N chief Nawaz Sharif expelled Baloch leaders from the political process by boycotting polls. Addressing a public gathering in Shahkot, Imran said Nawaz excluded APDM parties from previous election by boycotting the polls due to which main Baloch leadership was excluded from parliament.
“If Baloch leaders were not thrown out from the parliament, they would have been contending political case of the province,” Imran said. Imran promised that the PTI would overhaul the current rotten system and address issues in education and health departments on an emergency basis. He also predicted that there would be a PTI government until the next cricket world cup and “we will present the world cup to the nation as a gift”.
Makhdoom Javed Hashmi also criticised Nawaz Sharif, saying when the PML-N government was toppled in 1999, there was not a single minister in the cabinet from Sindh or Balochistan. Hashmi said the cabinet of PML-N was more like “Punjab cabinet” instead of federal cabinet.
