At least 22 militants were killed and 26 injured in a crackdown by the security forces in Upper Orakzai Agency, officials said on Thursday. The security forces pounded the hideouts of the terrorists located in Upper Orakzai Agency’s Sama Bazaar, Berlas and Barmila areas. Sources said the aircraft attacked militant’s compounds in the mountains and at least five hideouts were destroyed in the airstrikes. Pakistan’s military has been battling a homegrown insurgency in northwestern tribal region. At least 35,000 people, including military personnel, have lost their lives during the campaign against the extremists.
These terrorists need to be stopped. They have disrupted Pakistan’s peace through the use of improvised explosive devices.
I heard EU will be providing Pakistan with latest gadgets to help us deal with the improvised explosive devices. I hope it’s true
Terrorists strike again. Our government has clearly failed to come up with a solution to stop it and the use of improvised explosive devices.
Improvised explosive devices are lethal because they cannot be detected. Good move by EU to provide Pakistan with 10 robots and 10 vehicles that would help the bomb disposal squads in spotting the deadly IEDs.
