Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) will move a resolution for the recovery of missing persons and regulating intelligence agencies in the next National Assembly (NA) session, said Opposition Leader in National Assembly Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan on Wednesday.
Addressing a press conference at the CM Secretariat, Nisar said hat the PML-N did not support the extension in the service of the ISI DG. He was. He said that the current government talks about human and women rights but real violations were at their highest in the last four years. He said that the government had malicious intent regarding curbing free media but the PML-N would not be party to it. He said that the PML-N will not allow the government to impose a new tax on mobile phones. “The mobile phone is necessity and common people use it therefore we would not allow anyone to impose tax on it,” he said adding that the government should control its expenses rather than imposing new taxes. Criticising Imran Khan’s ‘Tsunami gang,’ Nisar said it makes false statements. He said his party did not support an extension for the current ISI DG. “Is there no one else competent in the army to head the ISI?,” he added. He said that no citizen should be picked by any institution since it was against the law. He said, “The current government is continuing Musharraf era policies as tales of missing persons have continued.”
