Starlet Meera’s engagement was finalised on 19th February, 2012, when her parents accepted the proposal of Pakistani-American airline captain Naveed Shahzad. However, it seems like the engagement plans have hit the rocks. In a recent development, Meera’s father-іn-law, Pakistani American Raja Pervez said Meera took 0.4 million dollars from him in exchange for a house in Lahore.
Pervez has decided to initiate legal action against the star for swindling him out of the money and not handing over the house in Lahore’s Defence area he had bought from her. He stated that he would not let his son marry Meera. Earlier, Meera had alleged that an expensive wrist watch that she had purchased for Shahzad was stolen from her home. Recent reports claimed that it was a pre-planned act designed to attract attention. Meera and Naveed Shahzad were not available for comments.
