Khar briefs PM about UK visit

Foreign Minister Hina Rabbani Khar called on Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani at PM’s House and briefed him about her UK visit under the Enhanced Strategic Dialogue, where she had extensive interactions with her counterpart Mr William Hague and many other Cabinet Ministers.
During her stay in the UK, Khar met US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and briefed her on the on-going Parliamentary process to revisit terms of engagements with the US. Both Khar and Clinton agreed that relations between Pakistan and USA were important and must be based on mutual respect and be seen to pursue mutual interest at the same level.
The foreign minister said that UK has invited Prime Minister Gilani to undertake a bilateral visit during the first half of current year.
Khar also briefed the PM about her visit to UAE to co-chair Joint Ministerial Commission meeting with her UAE counterpart Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan where Pakistan’s role in pursuing regional peace and security was highly appreciated.

  2. She is constantly on the move going from one capital to the other. What good is this designer dressed female? Her output will be the same as the two who are now in the TIP messrs Kasuri and Shah Mahmood. Will no one take pity on this poor nation?
