Balochistan Chief Minister Nawab Muhammad Aslam Raisani has said that an independent Balochistan would never be able to survive an unrestrained, bloody civil war.
Talking to the EU ambassador who called on him on Monday, Raisani condemned external interference in Balochistan, saying each Sardar and Nawab had patches of areas under their control and were “sovereign within their geographical fiefdoms; as such a volatile senseless civil war would erupt between these unruly chiefs for full control of provincial resources, which would not augur well for ordinary Baloch”.
