A four-day workshop on “Digital Learning and Computer Assisted Language Learning (CALL)” with the collaboration of British High Commission started today at National University of Modern Languages (NUML), Islamabad.
The Quality Enhancement Cell (QEC) at NUML, Islamabad is organising this four day workshop on Digital Learning & CALL which will last till March 01, 2012 at NUML Islamabad. The joint programme of NUML and British Council will facilitate faculty members of NUML teaching English language/communication skills.
Speaking at the opening ceremony of the workshop Dean QEC, Dr Sohaila Javed said that NUML and British Council Pakistan would continue to collaborate for professional growth of teachers and learners to enhance the professional competence of faculty members for awareness of global trends in teaching and learning.
The participants from seven regional campuses of NUML including Karachi, Hyderabad, Lahore, Faisalabad, Peshawar, Quetta, Multan and main campus at Islamabad are attending this workshop. Mr. Nik Peachey, International Learning Technology Consultant, is the resource person of this workshop.
