CDA directed to repair broken bridges

There are many damaged infrastructures in the city, which need immediate attention as they are a constant nuisance for the residents and commuters, said Prime Minister’s Task Force on Islamabad Chairman Faisal Sakhi Butt. D uring his visit to the site of the bridge on a nullah flowing through Sector G-7/2 on Service Road (North), Faisal Sakhi Butt said in some areas footpaths were damaged, sewerage lines were broken and roads needed patch work and carpeting, but it was not being done on priority as a result of which accidents were occurring. He directed the CDA to immediately repair the vulnerable points of broken bridges, sewerage lines, footpaths and walls of the nullahs in various areas of the city to facilitate the residents and avoid accidents.
