Lahore Development Authority (LDA) Director General Abdul Jabbar Shaheen has constituted a special squad to initiate ‘larvaciding’ at Dengue mosquito breeding places in 150 plus approved private housing schemes, 154 katchi abadies of the city, LDA offices, schools and official residences from tomorrow( Monday).
With a view to affectively curtail the dengue menace in the provincial metropolis, a training workshop for imparting practical training to the anti-dengue squad was held at LDA head office on Saturday. Renowned entomologist Mian Manzoor Ahmad briefed the staff about techniques of larvaciding and tested the performance of officials in this regard.
