At least five militants were killed and their several dins were demolished in gunship helicopters shelling at far flung mountainous Tirrah Valley of Khyber Agency on Sunday.
The official said that security forces with help of gunship helicopters intensified action against the miscreants, sheltering in Tirrah valley. The action was intensified in the wake of recent terrorist acts at Peshawar and its surrounding areas.
So far the officials confirmed killing of five militants in the latest round of military action at Tirrah valley. The officials said that around four compounds of the militants were also destroyed.
On the other hand, tribesmen reported civilian casualties in latest military action in Bara region of Khyber Agency. Five more persons injured when a house at Bara was hit by mortar shells. One day back, four of a family were killed and two other injured when a house hit by several mortar shells.
Improvised explosive devices have already claimed thousands of innocent lives in Pakistan. EU has taken step by providing Pakistan with modern robot system which can detect IEDs.
Pakistan is in danger because the terrorist are using improvised explosive devices.
