Opposition Leader in the National Assembly Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan on Saturday said that PPP government would not agree to hold general elections in the country even in the month of December of current year until political pressure was put on it.
Talking to a private TV channel, he said that the caretaker set up for general polls in the county would be made with consensus between opposition and government.
The opposition leader said that PML-N would neither make seat to seat adjustment nor would it make reconciliation with the PPP.
He said that people who contest the next general elections in the country on the ticket of PPP would damage their status, adding that those people riding on boat of PPP would sink soon.
Chaudhry Nisar said that the PPP tried to pass 20th amendment on one point agenda which aimed to provide protection to parliamentarians who were elected in by-polls.
