The Hameed Nizami Memorial Society (HNMS) and Aiwan-e-Iqbal have arranged a special programme to observe the 50th death anniversary of Hameed Nizami to be held today at the Aiwan-e-Iqbal at 2pm.
Former prime minister of Pakistan Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain will preside over the function while Federal Minister Samina Khalid Ghurki will be the chief guest.
Famous writers, anchors, and columnists like Mujeeb ur Rehman Shami, Hamid Mir, Sajad Mir, Orya Maqbool Jan and Nazeer Naji will also address the occasion.
