US national Mansoor Ijaz is hatching a conspiracy against the federal government on someone else’s direction, renowned human rights activist Asma Jahangir said on Saturday. Talking to journalists after casting her vote in the Lahore High Court Bar Association (LHCBA) elections, she said that no one could trust Ijaz, as some people were using him against the federal government to achieve their motives and everybody knew his past character against Pakistan.
Asma said that state institutions should work within limits to strengthen the country and a conflict between the federal government and judiciary should be avoided. The former SCBA president lamented that the federal and provincial governments could not meet the expectations of the people. She said that annual polls in bar associations across the country were strengthening democracy in bars.

People of Pakistan are not worried about it. What they are worried about is to cut down the prices and bring cost of living down…
Very disappointing remarks. Who cares about other things when your existence is at stake. We closely follow Memogate scandal and want culprits consigned to hell.

The cost of living is up for 2 reasons…a world recession and the Gillani-Zardari Government which has plundered the economy ever since they took power. This guy Mansoor Ijaz is actually giving people an opportunity to wake up, but people like you are just interested in getting your stomach full every night and couldn’t careless about the country. Had this country elected a proper government in 2007, we wouldn’t be even discussing Mansoor Ijaz and you wouldn’t be complaining about the cost of living. If you’re sick of all this, it’s also the media’s fault for making it into a circus. In any other country, this would be major disturbing news!

Asma Jehangir is absolutely right. It is a shame we are paying so much attention to this rogue character called Mansoor Ijaz. As long as we do not have a judiciary whose sole objective is justice, we can always be exploited. This is the price we have to pay for having history's most prejudiced judiciary.
Mrs.asma is replacing Aihtaz to become good in Zardari`s eyes so that next for senate will be her term.He is lurking PPP puppet government in the same ways for atracting the good books of ppp.

As 'Joker' Mansoor Ijaz is serving the cause of establishment so 'Mullas' are not talking about his belief. Whereas Asma Jehangir was labelled as 'Ahmedi' and condemned and lawyers were asked not vote for her. Great Scientist Abdus Salam is not given due respect due to his 'Ahmedi' connection.

Since the Government is its own worst enemy nobody needs to hatch a conspiracy against it and when it comes to choose between Zardari and Mansoor Ijaz's credibility, even a person like Masoor Ijaz can not beat Zardari.
ASMA Jehangir has shown a little dishonesty here saying that Government of Pakistan is Honest and whoever speaks against it is a fool or conspirator. WE all know the past of present leaders and there is no doubt about it that a huge conspiracy has been done not by Mansoor Ijaz but the PM,Preseident agianst this homeland.

Asma Jehangir u r government servant! Admitt it once and for all! Mansoor Ejaz good or bad he is revealing the true faces of our Pakistani so called patriot leaders sitting on our heads. No matter what so ever his intentions are but he is really benefitting our country by calling spade a spade.Its been rightly said " Akhirr bakrey ki maa kabb taak kher manai gi".
I fuly agree with Ms Asma Jahangir. One man who is not even a Pakistani citizen has caused an incredible suspense and drama and provided fuel to those who have no qualms even if army intervened and sent the government packing home. The judiciary's role is far from satisfactory and have squandered the phenomenal support it received in recent years. The drama of memogate hearing on the video link must end and let the government finish its term and make history in the annals of this country that for the first time a government has finished its term.
No outsider can hatch conspracy. Pakistan has crook president. and crook cronies. the PM does not respect the law. With these people how you expect Pakistan will even survive.
This lady has lost her bearings and sense of right or wrong. Her late father should be turning in his grave to see how his daughters have failed to carry on his lagacy.
If Mansoor Ijaz cannot be trusted because he is an American national and has a controversial background, what about Farrah Isphani an American national wife of two time crook Hussain Haqqani, or Ahmed Mukhtar a Canadian immigrant, or Dr Asim another immigrant, etc etc etc etc etc.
