Youth towards Social Change

Pakistan is currently facing social and economic crisis which can be removed by bringing the middle class in streamline, however, social politicians can bring this social revolution.
It was said by speakers at the launching ceremony of Mehmood Mirza’s book ‘Social Change’ at Alhamra Arts Council.
PTI leader Javed Hashmi, Senator Pervez Rasheed, Justice (r) Nasira Iqbal, Imtiaz Alam, Daily Pakistan Editor Mujeeburehman Shami, former Supreme Court Bar Association president Hamid Khan, Dr Mubarak Ali, Dr Rasool Bakhsh Raees, UMT Professor and columnist Dr Mujahid Mansoori, UMT Prof Shabir Sarwar, students and different social personalities were among the participants.
Mehmood Mirza, at the occasion, said that Pakistan was a tribal, semi feudal and semi industrialist society. He said further that patience was needed to overcome the issues in future.
Pakistan Institute for Social Development chairman Dr Mujahid Mansoori said that public behaviors should be changed to get the desired goal. He paid tributes to the writer for providing the youth with an ideology that further leads to the social change.
Sahbir Sarwar, who also performed the duties of stage secretary, said the youth of Pakistan was very energetic and a social change in near future was expected.
Javed Hashmi said the youth of the country should play its role in the proposed and desired social change.
The ceremony was organised by Pakistan Institute for Social Change (PISoD) and was presided by Justice (r) Nasira Javed Iqbal who welcomed the book and advised the youth to follow Mehmood Mirza’s thoughts and vision.
