The Pakistan Weightlifting Federation has on Wednesday named a seven weightlifters for the national team for participation in the 1st South Asian Championship 2012. The South Asian Championship will be held in Nepal from March 21 to 25 and the trial to select the weightlifters were held at Railway Stadium Garhi Shahu. Besides the seven-members another four has been put among the standbys. Mushtaq Ahmed and Abdul Aziz Khan will accompany the team as Coach and Manager Respectively while final shape will be given after getting No Objection Certificate (NOC) & financial support from Pakistan Sports Board.
