Former Pakistan hockey captain and Olympian Mohammad Saqlain has been appointed as director of the tournament to supervise the hockey activity of the Punjab Sports Festival. Saqlain has taken charge of his new job. Director General Sports Punjab on Wednesday appointed Saqlain for the festival. A meeting of the organizing committee has also been called for February 24 to review the arrangements of different events including hockey. The meeting will be attended by Olympians and government officials. During several committees will also be formed.
