Pakistan Muslim League-Like-Minded Information Secretary and MNA Kashmala Tariq has said that the rulers did not raise important issues like Salala Check Post, NATO supply, drone attacks and burning of Quran in Afghanistan with US delegation visiting Pakistan.
Giving details of the meeting of Pakistani members of Parliament and US delegation headed by David Dreir, she said the members of the committee urged that US should sign Free Trade Agreement (FTA) with Pakistan if it considered Pakistan a real ally in war against terror.
She said the members of the committee also asked for complete audit of NGOs fund used in Pakistan and check and balance that where the amount spent given to NGOs. She said the amount given for the training of parliamentarians should be given to the parliament directly instead of giving to NGOs.
She added that the members of the committee also raised the issue of US Resolution regarding Balochistan and urged the visiting congress members should pass resolution in favour of Balochistan that Balochistan was a vital part of Pakistan and no country had the right to interfere in Pakistan’s internal matters but the US delegation refused by saying the resolution was an individual action and it was not the part of US Policies regarding Pakistan.
She expressed deep concern over the complaint of Fauzia Wahab which she put before the US delegation that parliamentarians were not made a part or even informed when Ministry of Finance prepared defence budget.

  1. sure they don’t raise important issue because they are all busy with this stupid and non-binding (!) “balochistan-resolution” which was the best diversionary maneuver by the united states to keep our politicians busy! :p
