Motorway Police recovers four vehicles

National Highways and Motorway Police (NH & MP) Wednesday recovered 4 stolen vehicles arresting 4 culprits from different areas on motorway. As per details, Rawalpindi Police informed Motorway Police that a white colour Suzuki Carry Bolan No. RD-463, Model 2011 has been stolen from the Jurisdiction of Pirwadhai Police Station, Rawalpindi and requested for help in recovering the said Suzuki vehicle. On this information the Motorway Police alerted all its patrolling officers. After few minutes the NH and MP officers SPO Rafaqat Hayat and APO Shafiulllah observed a suspicious Suzuki Carry of the same colour in the area of Burhan on Motorway (M-1). The NH & MP officers signaled to stop but the driver of the Suzuki instead of stopping, tried to run away.
However, on chasing they succeeded to stop the said Suzuki Carry through commando action and arrested a culprit namely Ramna Khalid S/O Fazal Dad, resident of Abbottabad. Motorway Police took the Suzuki in to their custody, the original Number plate was found. In another incident, a Tracker Company from Lahore informed Motorway Police that a white Suzuki Carry Van No. LEE-8785, Model 2007 has been stolen from Jurisdiction of Nawab Town Police Station Lahore, and requested for help to recover the said Suzuki vehicle. The NH&MP officers PO Naveed Hussain and PO Amir Nawaz succeeded to stop the said Suzuki Carry through commando action on Motorway (M-2) in the area of Chakri and arrested a culprit Ghulam Mustafa S/O Muhammad Mansha, resident of Okara.
