The memo tribunal on Thursday disposed of three applications of Hussain Haqqani’s lawyer Zahid Bukhari, seeking permission to be allowed him to visit London for cross examination of Mansoor Ijaz, and forensic evidences and a verified copy of Mansoor Ijaz’s testimony be provided to him before cross examination.
The three-judge commission headed by Balohchistan High Court Chief Justice Qazi Faez Isa resumed the hearing here to record testimony of Mansoor Ijaz, main character of memogate controversy.
Qazi Isa ruled that a copy of Ijaz testimony be provided to Bukhari and remarked he could cross examine the witness through video link. The commission head deposed of the third plea saying issuing a visa was not his discretion.
