The Global System of Integrated Studies’ (GSIS) primary branch held an even titled “Integrated Activities 2012” by organising a number of activities here on Thursday. The teachers and students showed their hidden talents. The event was divided into six major subjects – history, geography, science, English, Urdu and Islamiat. The skit by the name of Pandora box and the performance on the Greek civilization highlighted the concept of ancient Greeks, their process of mummification and pyramids.
The performance of Eisha Tu Razia as a Godess, Rayyan Baig as a father, and Zain Ali as a king, was remarkable. The mime was presented to relate the geographical changes and its impact on human beings and crops was also the startling performance. Abdul Rab from class V depicted the human feelings in a befitting manner. To highlight English, the performances including Ali Baba and Forty Thieves, Mahnoor and Rizwan from class 1 presented themselves as Ali Baba and Qasim. The world is a stage by Shakespeare was narrated by Bilal Atif of Class IV and his team performed on it.
Toddlers from class I & II played their role in presenting the colours of rainbow and how rainbow formed, states of matter, the solar system and sun energy to integrate sciences with such co-curricular activities.
