The city police on Tuesday claimed to have arrested seven outlaws, including a woman drug pusher, from various areas of the city and recovered hashish and weapons from them. A spokesman for Islamabad police said that Secretariat poice nabbed Gulfam for having a 30 bore-pistol while ASI Tariq Mehmud from Bhara Kahu police arrested Misbah Islam in possession of a 30-bore pistol. ASI Muhammad Arif of Ramna police nabbed Naveed Ahmed and recovered a 32-bore pistol from him while ASI Rana Shaukat Ali apprehended Akhtar for having a 30-bore pistol. Tarnol police arrested Naseem Bibi from Chungi No.26 and recovered 410 gram hashish from her. Meanwhile, Koral police nabbed two thieves, Iqbal and Ramzan. Cases have been registered against these nabbed persons and further investigation is underway. SSP Muhammad Yousuf Malik appreciated the police performance and directed all SHOs to enhance patrolling and vigilance in their respective areas.
