The 2ND U-21 Girls National Hockey Championship will be played at National Hockey Stadium, Lahore from April 25 to May 5. The Punjab Women Hockey Association will organise the event on behalf of the Pakistan Hockey Federation Women’s Wing.
An official of the Pakistan Hockey Federation said that the championship will serve as a source to spot talent and also widens the base from where a strong and formidable side would be prepared and groomed for the 6th Women’s Junior Asia Cup to be played in Bangkok from June 29 to Jul 8.
The championship will be played by two teams each from Punjab and Sindh while one team each from KPK, Balochistan, Islamabad, Railways, Pakistan Boards, WAPDA and Army.
