Reacting to the interior minister’s briefing in Sindh Assembly regarding the Benazir Bhutto case on Tuesday, former president Pervez Musharraf strongly denied his involvement in the assassination of the former prime minister.
Talking to reporters, Musharraf said he had informed Benazir about the threats to her life before the first attack.
Musharraf said he had met Benazir twice in Dubai, but did not speak to her after October 18. “Rehman Malik was not present in those meetings,” Musharraf added. He said providing security to Benazir was the responsibility of the provincial government and her principal security was being handled by PPP workers.

  1. Rehman Malik made wild charges against Musharaf in the provincial assembly that at law cannot be sustained. Rehman has contradicted himself by blaming Baitul Masud for BB’s murder and yet threatening Musharaf for the same offence.they are trying to get the same sympathay that lead them in to the govt i.e SMBB 's blood and preparing for next elections. Definitely its an ill statement to held Musharraf responsible for BB's murder. RM was security responisble for BB not Musharraf being President.RM is nothing but a liar and opportunist. But i support this act to bring back Mush in front of courts with the help of interpole for all other crime he did (Lal Masgid Killing, Missing persons, Akber Bugti murder, saking CJ , imposing emergency etc) .Zardari should also be asked by SC about his confession of knowing the BB 's killers.
