Unidentified thieves broke into a mosque and made away with UPS, carpet, battery unit and other valuables in the Kot Shahab-ud-Din main bazaar in the Shahdra Town police limits on Tuesday.
Police have registered a case against unidentified thieves. Meanwhile, locals staged a protest demonstration against local police over their failure to control crimes, alleging that the police were helping the thieves.
