Hina calls on UK investors to invest in Pakistan

Foreign Minister Hina Rabbani Khar called upon British entrepreneurs on Tuesday to continue with their business plans in Pakistan while the federal government is always keen to encourage and facilitate international investors and businesses. The foreign minister co-chaired a business roundtable with Alistair Burt, British minister of state for foreign & commonwealth office. Hina called on British Minister of State for Trade and Investment Lord Green and thanked the British government for supporting Pakistan in the EU for tariff concession proposal that was approved in the WTO. The FM also called on British Home Minister Theresa May.
Hina to meet Clinton in London: Foreign Minister Hina Rabbani Khar said on Tuesday that she would meet US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton at Thursday’s London meeting on Somalia to discuss the strained ties between Washington and Islamabad.

  3. Please don't joke we cannot even invest in a plot without someone stealing it. Fraud is rife in pakistan and its near impossible to resolve these matters. Property is not safe there at all. Let alone investing in a business

  4. Yes i opened an office in pakistan in 2005 and employed 15 staff i spent a fortune in
    Supporting this office with load shedding and and all the other problems that went with
    Doing any business i had had enough in feb 2008 i closed it after i circulated email to my staff what they thought about a particular web name within half an hour it had been registered in pakistan from the same town
    Only if imran khan is the pime minster will i contemplate doing any business there
