CM holds meeting on development projects

Punjab Chief Minister (CM) Shahbaz Sharif held a meeting with assembly members of various districts on Tuesday to discuss the pace of implementation of development projects and public welfare schemes. He said the government was taking revolutionary measures for the provision of modern education, health and other basic amenities to the masses at their doorsteps, and billions of rupees had been utilised for this purpose.
The CM said the basic aim of the present government was to raise the living standard of the masses so that every citizen could live honourably. He said the government had also allocated funds to the Daanish School System, the Yellow Cab Scheme and the Self-Employment Programme. The CM further said the government had provided shelter to homeless people through the Aashiyana Housing Scheme.
