The Punjab Badminton Association has decided to form associations at district level to lift the sport at the grass root level. An executive committee meeting of Punjab Badminton Association was held here under the chairmanship of Shahraiz Abdullah Khan Rokhri, President Punjab Badminton Association. All the District Badminton Association were asked to complete the necessary documents. Meanwhile, the meeting also decided to form a women wing of Punjab Badminton and Mrs Zeenat Aamer Hayyat Khan Rokhri was nominated as executive member of the association and president of women wing of Punjab. They also announced the holding of the Aamer Hayyat Khan Rokhri Ranking Badminton Tournament in the last week March at Lahore, which will be participated by all the affiliated units of the Pakistan Badminton Federation.
I live in islamabad and I also want to participate. So is there any women wing for women residing in islamabad. I am waiting for your reply. We should support badminton in Pakistan n encourage players even if they are married or mothers.
