One person was killed and several others injured in separate firing incidents and land sliding in Katti Pahari area of city on Tuesday.
According to details, bullet riddled and tortured body of a youth was recovered from Sohrab Goth area. The body was shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital, where the deceased was identified as Imran, 27.
At least four persons, identified as Furqan 23, Ismail 35, Saddique 23, and Usman 19, were injured in firing by unknown armed men near Hassan Bin Thabit mosque located on University Road. The injured were shifted to Jinnah Hospital for treatment.
Meanwhile, at least three persons were injured when a portion of Katti Pahari hill rolled down, trapping the passersby and blocking main road of the area.
The rescue teams and locals reached the scene and pulled out trapped people from the debris.
