In yet another blow to Pakistan Railways which is undergoing extreme financial crisis, copper wires of 14 locomotives worth millions of rupees were stolen from Lahore railway loco shed.
It should be mentioned that each railway engine contains six copper leads and weight of each lead is 10 kilograms.
The PR officials have admitted that as a result of the theft, railway has suffered a loss of Rs 3 million.
The Railway Police have registered a case and started the investigations.
