Two accused arrested in murder cases

Bhara Kahu police on Saturday arrested an accused person along with two women in a murder case while another accused was held for allegedly killing a teacher of a religious seminary.
According to police official, Waseem had developed differences with his wife Uzma Saeed after she demanded divorce from him. Both of them did not reside together and Waseem often used to come to meet his two daughters and a son at `Nain Sukh’ in Bhara Kahu police station area. On December 30, Waseem came to see his children late night for giving them money for medicines and stayed at a room in the house. The next day, police was informed by his brother Muhammad Ismail that Waseem was found dead there with gash marks on his body.
Bhara Kau police registered a case no 375/11 under section 302 PPC and started investigation into the case. SP (City) Muhammad Ilyas issued instruction for speedy investigation into the case and arrest accused involved in this heinous crime.
Under supervision of SHO Bhara Kau police station, Inspector Mehboob Ahmed, Sub-Inspector Javed Iqbal and others investigated into the case keeping in view various aspects.
This team succeeded in arresting the wife of deceased Uzma Saeed and his sister in-law Fozia Saeed who confessed to axe Waseem to death during his stay at home. After preliminary investigation, it was also revealed that Shahid Idrees, close relative of Waseem, was also involved in the murder besides the women. Further investigations are underway.
Meanwhile, Bhara Kau police team headed by SHO Inspector Mehboob Ahmed arrested Sami-ur-Rehman for allegedly killing Maulana Muhammad Riaz, a teacher of a local seminary. He was shot dead at Mohallah `Nen Sukh’ in the area of Bhara Kahu police station on February 8 and a case no 52/12 was registered against unknown persons. Bhara Kau police also arrested four thieves Bux Khan, Zaafran, Irshad and Ejaz besides recovering stolen valuables from them.
39 wine bottles, weapons seized: Federal capital police on Saturday arrested five outlaws from various areas of the city and recovered 39 bottles of wine and two pistols from their possession, a police spokesman said.
ASI Ameer Sajjad from Bhara Kau police station nabbed Adnan Masih for having 15 bottles of wine while ASI Khuram Shehzad from Kohsar police nabbed Yousuf Masih and recovered 24 bottles of wine from his possession.
Meanwhile, ASI Asif Hussain from Sabzi Mandi police arrested Raheem Ullah for possessing 30 bore pistol while another accused Abid Hussain was arrested for having 30 bore pistol by ASI Umer Hyat. Aabpara police arrested an accused Khizer Iqbal for his alleged involvement in gambling activities.
