KPK government has deployed a new and latest robotic system to diffuse any IEDs (improvised explosive devices), with immediate effect.
The robotic bomb-disposal squads would enable diffusing of IEDs, saving any possible losses of precious human lives during dismantling of explosive devices.
Twenty civil defense personnel have been transferred to Lahore for being imparted with training in this regard by European Union and other western trainers.
This expensive technology of robots would be provided by European Union bloc, with batch of first 10 robots and 10 vehicles. Half of these would be given to Punjab.
The technology, which comes replete with sensor cameras and all-explosives’ detection system, besides the ability to dig up entrenched explosives, would commence its operations in KPK from next week.
